Clarify Scenario:

While updating a Cleo Clarify Studio project to version 2, the SQL access objects threw errors when saving the SQL Access object. The errors read:

Clarify Issue:

The SQL Access object was originally created in EBI 2.6 and via Cleo Conversion Tool, migrated to Clarify 4.x Version 1.
Prior to Version 2, users were able to assign variables as Object types, however Version 2 does not allow this assignment.

Server Errors:

Syntax error on token ".", Identifier expected after this token.

Clarify Resolution:

Instead of assigning the SQL variables as Object, we assigned the variable to String.
